our Approach to Care
Full-Service Cancer Care for the Whole Body & Mind
We use a multidisciplinary approach to care, bringing together doctors from different specialties and departments to ensure our patients receive care for the whole body and mind, not just their cancers. You'll have access to the latest minimally invasive surgical approaches, anticancer drugs, immunotherapies, and radiation treatments.
Not only do we offer the full range of cancer care — from screening and diagnosis through treatment and recovery — but also care for other conditions that may develop as a result of cancer or a pre-existing condition. If needed, you'll have access to other outstanding services throughout our hospital.
You may be able to participate in a clinical trial of a promising treatment. Our Cancer Center is a regular participant in various National Cancer Institute (NCI) clinical trials and is a designated site for the NRG Oncology Group. Through our relationship with Weill Cornell Medicine, we are also a member of the prestigious Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology. Clinical trial volunteers not only play a critical role in gauging the effectiveness of new therapies — they often gain access to innovative treatments not available elsewhere. The decision to participate in a clinical trial is entirely yours. Learn more about our clinical trials.
